You do not have to be a visual merchandiser to keep an Arcadian display performing. You just need a simple checklist to run through when you walk the store.
Use this guide when you pass the stand during your normal route or when our team visits to support a reset.
1. Can a customer see what this display is from ten feet away
Stand back and look.
-
Can you clearly see state or local artwork at eye level
-
Does the stand look full and intentional, or sparse and forgotten
If the answer is not positive, move a few of your strongest designs to the top row and make sure the Arcadian header is visible.
2. Are there obvious empty hooks
Empty hooks represent missed dollars. They also make the stand look picked over.
-
Group remaining units so hooks are not isolated and empty.
-
Place a note or reminder to reorder if multiple hooks are empty in key designs.
If your team is busy, even taking a picture and texting it to your Arcadian contact helps start the conversation.
3. Are slow movers hiding your best sellers
Every store has a few designs that move slower. That is normal. The goal is to make sure they are not blocking what your customers actually want.
Ask yourself:
-
Which styles sell most often when you check your history
-
Are those styles easy to spot, or are they pushed to the bottom or back
Move top performers to eye level. Shift slower styles lower or to the sides. You do not have to pull them entirely, but you cannot let them run the show.
4. Is the display clean
Customers notice when a stand looks cared for.
-
Remove dust and stray tags.
-
Straighten any crooked headers or signs.
-
Tuck in loose threads or packaging.
This takes less than a minute but changes how the display feels.
5. Would I buy from this right now
Last question. If you were a customer walking in after a long day, would this stand catch your attention and invite you to reach out and touch something
If the answer is no, change one thing before you walk away. Move a hook. Adjust placement. Wipe a shelf. That steady attention is what turns your Arcadian program into a quiet workhorse that keeps paying you back.
